The head of state conducted a visit to address defense personnel in the Donetsk region on the weekday. The president confirmed that he consulted soldiers at the operational headquarters of the 1st Corps of the state defense force Azov, which is conducting a defensive operation in the Dobropillya sector, a town approximately a short distance from Pokrovsk.

Volatile Conditions in the Area

Recent mapping from a Ukrainian project revealed that invading troops had made gains into Pokrovsk and nearby locations, though a large portion remained beyond firm control by both forces.
